Backyard Garden
Some Indian Chillies, Indian Tomatoes and Indian Squash ...makes our garden perfect this year .....we are not big on gardening however slowly we are learning and enjoying the organic produce from our garden ...we wish we can do some more in winter and even more next summer ... for this year we are happy with what we got and mother nature is happy with all our hard work :)

Wild Wild West
9 days , 99 videos, 999 vista points, 999999999 memories ... how else can I say how awesome was our trip to West ..
Trip started from Colorado Springs ...Pikes Peak, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Garden of Gods ... Mother nature was cooperative when it came to weather ... I could not have asked for better weather ..Driving through the mountains with mountain fresh air on face .. with punjabi music in the car and with amazing view ... this was an awesome way to relax and be away from this busy world ..... My husband wants to do all national parks and I must say everyone that I have gone one thing has happened for sure ... I have fallen in love with nature even more ... watching nature and wild life on tv and movies is completely different then seeing with your eyes ...when you are so close you not only respect it but also understand how powerful mother nature is ..... Garden 2011
Yup it's that time of the year where you love evening walks ... and you love working in your garden .. although I don't think I have a green thumb I am still doing a garden this year .. just because we had awesome tomatoes last year ...we did go a step further by planting little more and making our garden in the backyard ...
Here we have tomatoes seeds that sprouted last week ... I know I planted them so close .. but thats ok I think I am learning this year and next year it will be better
Check out the garden we started in back ... we have four variety of tomatoes seeds and cucumbers in there already ...
Our very low maintenance friend mint is happy already ....
and these are marigold that are sprouting .. I was hopping we will get come but lets see maybe they are still shy :)
and these are my favvvvv ...my mom planted coriander before she left for India and now they are almost ready ...can't wait to make chutney with mint and coriander ...
We also have 'Tori' seeds that sprouted I will take a pic soon and also will let you know what actually grew in our garden ....Are you guys starting a garden soon ?

Things I learnt
Inspired by this post from Artnlight: Things I learnt in 2010 .. I asked myself what did I learn ...nothing came striking at once .. but when the flashback started I did realize what a year it was ..so this post was best for me to start a new year ...
1. Forgive - It's ok to forgive when someone makes a mistake ..... what you get in return is priceless .... and when you look back at the issue you realize that it was not as big as it seemed.
2. Pray - Always have time to pray ...remember that almighty is always listening to you ...take a moment and say your prayers ...
3. Travel - If you can travel as many places as you can .. you never know if you will ever get a chance again or not ...if your body will allow you to walk on a trail or climb 50 steps ...if you can today go for it ..
4. Enjoy - everything around you ..the beauty in nature, the birds talking ..your home .. even if it needs some cleaning...an old t shirt that you wore in college .. you have two options either to enjoy them or not .. why not go with the first option ..
5. Guardian Angel -yes there are guardian angel all around you .. you just have to keep your eyes and ears open to see and listen to them ..you will see them as your friends and family .. you are blessed to have them in your life and they will be there when you need them .....
